Spent 2 weeks working for Shifa Foundation and PIMS (Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences) This was a worldwide humanitarian relief effort for the earthquake region of northern Pakistan. This included not only medical care but thousands of dollars worth of donated medical supplies and instruments. (Return trip scheduled for 2 weeks in March/April 2006 to continue the orthopedic aftercare for the victims.
